We can define wood sawdust as a waste or byproduct of the wood industry that is obtained from sawing wood. It is fine and small, we can even say that it is the dust that is released when sawing wood.
Sawdust is the universal absorbent, used by construction companies and industry.
Wood sawdust has many uses, among them are:

- In gardening to prevent weeds from growing. It simply spreads where we do not want weeds to grow.

- Carpentry. Sometimes sawdust can be used to repair and fill wooden pieces, for example, combining it with glues or other adhesives.
- Cleaning. In certain areas, sawdust is used to absorb substances from surfaces, for example, oil from a workshop floor, cleaning bar floors, etc.
- Animal bed.
